Use cases for Mender in Energy and Environment industries

Use cases for Mender Enterprise in Smart Energy & HVAC companies include robust and secure OTA software updates for:

• Gateway management devices on industrial and home heating systems and ventilation systems, and support for key data privacy standards for the transmission of data through control systems such as EC62443.  

 

• Gateway management devices that collect data from PV panels, heat pumps and EV charging stations and submit this data to a cloud platform for analysis. The insights gained are used to optimise energy usage in businesses and homes.
